Tectonic performed emergency response asbestos-related services at the A. Harry Moore School, in the City of Jersey City in response to a catastrophic failure of the porte-cochère (aka Portico) entrance ceiling on a school day. Tectonic assisted to isolate the area, performed public notification and coordination of potential asbestos hazards. Tectonic managed the assessment of the structural debris and then extended surveys into the building to rule-out the potential for internal structural failures to contaminate the building interior with asbestos.
