Design and construction of several new facilities for the North Shore Long Island Jewish Medical Center which includes a 6-story building addition; new inpatient building, pavilion and bed tower; lobby addition; Cohen Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology upgrade; and Schneider Children’s Hospital addition.

Tectonic provided special inspections and quality control services for the construction of several new facilities for the Medical Center. Tectonic has separate contracts to provide special inspections and testing services as well as perform subsurface investigations and geotechnical recommendations for a new Pavillion & Bed Tower and Schneider Children’s Hospital Addition.

In an effort to reduce construction costs for the reinforcement required in the building additions, Tectonic performed a site-specific seismic analysis.
