Mr. Fawzy is a highly decorated veteran of the Civil, Structural, and Transportation Engineering fields, possessing more than three decades worth of experience in all aspects in the field of design and construction of bridges and highway projects. As Vice President of New Jersey Transportation, Mr. Fawzy manages construction and rehabilitation projects for the transportation sector in New Jersey. Mr. Fawzy obtained his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University (Egypt) in 1986, and his Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University in 1993. Mr. Fawzy would spend the next twenty-five years in the greater New York engineering industry as a bridge rehabilitation specialist working for various other high profile engineering firms.

Since 2014, Mr. Fawzy has served as Vice President of Transportation in Tectonic’s Short Hills, New Jersey office, overseeing all transportation projects and services; this includes managing construction and rehabilitation projects for the transportation sector in NJ delivering presentations and proposals to clients as a liaison; and providing services such as preconstruction meetings, condition surveys, foundation and retaining wall design and construction, cost estimates, change orders, and RFI resolution. He maintains his NJSAT, Fall Protection, and OSHA (Hazardous Materials and Construction Safety) certifications.

Mr. Fawzy serves of the committees for the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE).
