The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) worked closely with New Jersey Legislature to develop the Site Remediation Reform Act (SRRA) that ultimately changed the process of how Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) conduct environmental investigations and cleanups. It was signed into law in 2009 by Governor Corzine. Recently, on August 23, 2019, Governor Phil Murphy signed legislation amending the SRRA to modify how New Jersey handles contaminated sites.
On September 27, 2019, Tectonic’s LSRP, David Morris, will serve as a panelist at an educational session entitled “Changes to NJ Cleanup Laws – What You Need to Know” to discuss the amendments and what these new changes mean for cleanups moving forward on contaminated sites. This event is a collaboration of the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey (CIANJ), Montclair State University (MSU) and Continuing Professional Education Services (CPES) at MSU.
Join David Morris, LSRP, along with other experts in the industry, as he provides his input on the amendments to the NJ Environmental Cleanup Program. Details and Registration are provided here.
