How to change your password from a mobile phone

To change an expired password please use these following steps:

  • Go to https://outlook.office365.com
  • Enter your Tectonic email.
  • Click on the “Next” button.
  • Enter the last password you used.
  • Click on the “Sign In” button.
  • If prompted to change your password please enter the last password, a new password, and then confirm new password meeting the following criteria:
    • a minimum of 20 characters
    • 1 capital letter
    • 1 number
    • 1 special character like !, @, #, $, and/or %
    • Use paraphrase when creating passwords

To change your password, even if it did not expire, please use these following steps:

  • Go to https://outlook.office365.com
  • Enter your Tectonic email.
  • Click on the “Next” button.
  • Enter your password.
  • Click on the “Sign In” button.
  • On the upper-right of screen click on circle icon with your initials.
  • Select “View account”.
  • From “My Account” page click “Change Password”.
  • On the “Change Password” page enter old password, new password*, and confirm new password.

After you change the password please update it in your phone using the instructions below:

ANDROID
  • Go to “Settings”.
  • Select “Accounts”.
  • Select “Account settings”.
  • Select your email account.
  • From the “Server Settings” section select “Incoming Settings”.
  • Go to the “Password” field and type the new password.
  • Tap on “DONE”.
APPLE/iOS
  • Go to “Settings”.
  • Select “Accounts & Passwords”.
  • Select your Tectonic email account.
  • Select your email account.
  • Type the new password in the “PASSWORD” field.
  • Tap on “DONE”.
