Northeast Regional Critical Infrastructure Study and Threat Assessment

As part of a statewide effort to institute regional response initiatives to Homeland Security Planning Councils, Tectonic provided services to develop a critical infrastructure inventory; prepared a regional threat assessment; developed recommendations to establish security improvements; evaluated the region’s preparedness to respond to a major disaster and evaluated local emergency operation plans for 85 towns in the northeast region of Massachusetts. Tectonic utilized the prioritization and screening section of the Sandia RAM-C security vulnerability / risk methodology to rank priorities of all critical infrastructure within each sector, then conducted a subsequent, more specific ranking in order to establish the overall priority for implementing security improvements for all infrastructure throughout the 85 municipalities.
